PURPOSE: A kimchi refrigerator is provided to effectively prevent a permeation of water into a circuit board and to improve the operating sensitivity of a button. CONSTITUTION: An operating panel assembly for a refrigerator comprises a circuit board(11) to have a button switch(40); a substrate cover(13) to isolate an upper part of the circuit board with a specific interval and to have a through hole in a plate corresponding to the button switch; a panel casing(17) to be combined with the board cover and to have a button receiving hole corresponding to the button switch; and a button(20) to operate the button switch by accepting inside the button receiving hole. An extending protrusion is formed in a girth of the through hole to directly contact the button with the button switch. By shielding the extending protrusion with the lower part of the button, permeation of water into the circuit substrate is effectively prevented.
