PURPOSE: A cooling tower is provided to devise an effective distribution of a coolant, to reinforce supporting structure of a cooling tower and to simplify pipe laying structure for flowing and discharging the coolant and the supporting structure of the cooling tower. CONSTITUTION: A cooling tower comprises a center pillar pipe(16) to be vertically fixed in a supporting foundation, to have a coolant inlet port and a coolant distributing port and to guide a rising flow of hot coolant by vertically arranging via a central axis of a casing(1); a distributing pipe laying(30) to be horizontally arranged on the pillar by connecting with the distributing port and to have many watering nozzles(31); a coolant intake collecting container(21) to have a coolant intake space connecting with a water collecting tank, to surround the center pillar pipe and to have a discharge port of cold coolant; and plural casing supporting beams(11) to support the casing by horizontally extending from the center pillar pipe. Thereby, the coolant is effectively distributed, supporting structure of the cooling tower is reinforced and pipe structure for flowing and discharging the coolant and the supporting structure of the cooling tower are simplified.
