PURPOSE: An air dryer is provided to save energy by minimizing air discharge amount upon reproducing a dehumidifying agent in a dehumidifying tank without an additional heater. CONSTITUTION: Compressed air is discharged from a turbo compressor in high temperature and high pressure. Using the compressed air, the dehumidifying agent of a first dehumidifying tank(101) is reproduced. The air containing large amount of moisture passes through a cooler(105) and a separator(107) to remove moisture and passes through a second dehumidifying tank(103). After that, the air is discharged through an air system and the first dehumidifying tank is cooled using the part of the air. This process is repeated in the first and the second dehumidifying tanks by turns. Thus, air discharge amount is minimized to save energy and both dehumidifying tanks are cooled without an additional heater.
