PURPOSE: A lamp-type heater with filament supports is provided to lengthen useful life of the heater by preventing the filament from contacting the wall of tube. CONSTITUTION: A lamp-type heater comprises a tube sealed with low pressure, a filament(12) installed within the tube, a filament support(23), and an electrode for applying current from an external source to the filament. The filament support is configured in that a support ring(41) is formed to fit the inner diameter of the heater, a fixing ring(42) for winding and fixing the filament is formed, and another support ring is formed to be symmetric with the support ring(41). Thus, a plurality of support rings are arranged with a predetermined spacing, and the filament is connected through the center of each support ring like an axis. The support ring and the fixing ring are formed of a single rod wire.
