PURPOSE: A device for converting forward driving for a bicycle is provided to transmit the driving power for allowing the bicycle to travel forward while maintaining the same speed rate as the forward directional rotation even when a pedal is rotated backwardly. CONSTITUTION: A device for converting forward driving for a bicycle includes a pedal shaft rotating with a pedal, a pedal shaft housing(20) fixed on a boss of a frame for rotating the pedal shaft, a ring gear housing(30) mounted at the end of the pedal shaft and having a ring gear(33) and a driving sprocket(34) formed on an inner surface and the outer surface respectively, an inner support ring(40) disposed at the end of the pedal shaft, an unidirectional rotating part(50) mounted between the inner surface of the inner support ring and the outer surface of a friction ring for controlling a rotational direction of the inner support ring, a two-step repeating gear(61) engaging with the pedal shaft gear and the ring gear, a two-step repeating gear braking part(60) for restricting the rotation of the two-step repeating gear, and an outer support ring(35) for supporting the end of a shaft pin of the two-step repeating gear.
