METHOD FOR APPLYING REWRITABLE VISUAL CARDS TO HIGHWAY PASS CARDS

PURPOSE: A method for applying rewritable card to highway pass cards is provided to reduce cost required to issue cards and to prevent environmental pollution due to disposable paper cards by recycling the highway pass cards. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic capsule is turned over or moved when a vertical magnetic force is applied to a rewritable visual card. The other side of the card is exposed, and data about tollgates and pass time are recorded thereon. A highway tollgate calculates a charge based on the recorded data. The rewritable visual card is collected, and then a horizontal magnetic force is applied to the applied portion of vertical magnetic force. The magnetic capsule is returned to the original state and the recorded data are erased. Therefore, the rewritable visual card is recycled and environmental pollution is prevented.
