PURPOSE: A fuel tank valve of automobiles is easy to assemble and economical to produce because of simpler structure and fewer parts needed. CONSTITUTION: A fuel tank valve of automobiles comprises a mounting plate(5) and a locking plate(9). The mounting plate(5) is fixed on an upper part of a fuel tank(2) so as to fix a sealing ring(4) in a proper place while the sealing ring(4) rests on a round intrusive groove on the upper part of the fuel tank(2) and has many fixing protrusions(7) rising perpendicularly by regular intervals and having an inclined inserting groove(8) each. The locking plate is on an upper part of a valve(1) installed in a way that its lower part contacts with the sealing ring(4) and has many engaging protrusions(10) protruding slantly in the upper direction at a certain angle so as to engage with the inclined inserting groove(8) of the fixing protrusions(7) elastically.
