The invention relates to a method for transmitting data over a wireless network or a local wireless network that consists of at least a number of stations, which comprise a computer or a portable communications unit, and of at least one radio node. The data to be transmitted is converted into data frames which contain the address information of the respective station and of the radio node, and the bits of the data frames are spread according to the spreading technique by means of a binary sequence. The data is transmitted in a predetermined frequency band divided up into frequency channels, whereby a plurality of frequency channels is assigned to the radio node and a frequency channel is assigned to the stations from the plurality of frequency channels. In the radio node, access times for the respective transmitting and receiving authorization are stored, within a timing interval and while taking the plurality of frequency channels into account, for all stations belonging to the radio node and for the radio node itself. A reference signal is transmitted within the wireless network. Said reference signal is received by all stations and synchronizes the timing interval of the access times. |
