PURPOSE: A laundry drying method of a washing machine is provided to improve the efficiency of drying, and reduce drying time by maintaining an optimum load matching state according to the change of water in the laundry. CONSTITUTION: A laundry drying method of a washing machine comprises the steps of; setting a drying mode after washing and dewatering is finished; supplying the microwave generated from a microwave generator(1) to a washtub(3) through a wave guide(2), and evaporating the water rapidly while the microwave flows in the washtub rotated with the dry air and then heats the surface water contained in the laundry by penetrating into the laundry, and discharging the evaporated water to the outside through a steam discharging pipe(6); detecting the water content of the laundry using an exhaust gas detecting sensor(7), and adjusting the height of a punch(4); and carrying out the drying of the laundry, and then finishing when the water content reaches the certain degree of the water content. |
