PURPOSE: Provided is an apparatus for fermenting organic wastes, especially livestock excrement, which does not generate leachate by spraying collected leachate on livestock excrement under fermentation, and optimal fermentation is conducted by blowing air through pipes installed at the bottom part of the apparatus. CONSTITUTION: At the bottom of the fermentation tank(1), several perpendicular trenches(2) and several horizontal trenches(2a) are formed. A plurality of manholes(3) which are connected to perpendicular trenches(2) are connected to one another with transfer pipes(4). Leachate collected in the manhole travels through pipe to a sedimentation tank(5), and a storage tank(6). A plurality of main pipes(10) being equipped with valves(12) at the end of the main pipes and blowers(13) between the valve(12) and wall are laid in perpendicular trenches. A plurality of branch pipes(11) having several air holes(11a) at the upper part of the pipe are laid in the horizontal trenches(2a).
