PURPOSE: A control device and a method for allocating a load of a strand driving roll are provided to improve a surface quality of a guiding panel by controlling a guided driving motor driving the respective driving rolls independently as to distribute a drawing power of the strand driving roll equally. CONSTITUTION: In a control device and method for allocating a load of a strand driving roll, a current detector(10) detects a three-phase current flowing to a guided driving motor(7) driving the respective driving roll(3). A motor controller(8) calculates a torque current value from the three-phase current of the current detector and controls the guided driving motor via an inverter(11) depending on a speed direction. An upper controller(9) receives a torque current value from the motor controller and obtains the difference of the torque current values between a reference motor controller and a dependent motor controller. The upper controller calculates a new speed direction value from the difference of the torque current values and controls the respective guided driving motor through the motor controller.
