PURPOSE: An evaporation gas purge control system for a vehicle and a control method thereof are provided to remove an odor of a fuel gas by collecting a gas evaporated and discharged at a carburetor or a fuel tank by re-burning the gas. CONSTITUTION: An evaporation gas purge control system for a vehicle comprises a fuel tank(1) for storing a fuel, a pressure sensing sensor(3) for sensing a pressure in the fuel tank(1), an ECU(5) for receiving a sensing signal from the pressure sensing sensor(3), converting the received signal and for outputting the converted signal, a surge tank(7) for introducing an evaporation gas and for outputting to a combustion chamber, a bi-directional valve(9) operated by the pressure of the evaporation gas and installed to flow a gas, a check valve(11) and a canister(13). The evaporation gas purge control system further comprises a first purge control solenoid valve(15) and a second purge control solenoid valve(17). The first purge control solenoid valve(15) receives a mixed gas from the canister(13), outputs to the surge tank(7) and is operated by receiving the converted signal of the ECU(5). The second purge control solenoid valve(17) outputs directly the gas from the check valve(11) to the surge tank(7) and is operated by receiving the converted signal of the ECU(5).
