PURPOSE: A device and method for compensating ground of a controller is provided to extend a life span of a vehicle and to improve travelling safety by exactly compensating the ground. CONSTITUTION: A device for compensating ground of a controller comprises a sensing unit(10) outputting a signal by detecting a vehicle state; a controller(20) controlling the vehicle by calculating different value between detected ground signal and output signal; a vehicle state sensing unit(11) outputting variable signal according to movement of the vehicle; a ground sensing unit(12) sensing a ground of the vehicle; a controller ground sensing unit(13) detecting the ground of the controller; an analogue/digital convert unit(21) calculating voltage difference value; and a control unit(22) controlling the vehicle. Thereby, the device for compensating the ground of the controller improves travelling safety by exactly compensating the ground.
