PURPOSE: A continuously variable transmission for an automobile is provided to remove a centrifugal hydraulic pressure, thereby controlling an accurate speed changing control. CONSTITUTION: A torque converter(3) transmits a rotation power of an engine to an input shaft. A damper clutch(9) increases an acceleration performance, and reduces an impact. A clutch(C) and a brake(B) slips when there is an excessive torque. A forward/backward moving member(b) removes a centrifugal hydraulic pressure between the clutch(C) and the brake(B). A continuously variable transmission member removes the centrifugal hydraulic pressure in a driving pulley(35) and a driven pulley(37) mounted in a driving shaft(31) and a driven shaft(33) respectively.
