PURPOSE: A method for controlling injection fuel amount is provided to stabilize the concentration of exhaust gas by compensating injection amount which is again injected in a cylinder and excluding incomplete combustion if restarting is needed, in case of generating stall without the normal explosion of an engine in engine starting or without rising until the predetermined RPM after engine starting. CONSTITUTION: If the need of engine starting from a switching device(10) is detected in ignition reset mode, fuel is simultaneously injected according to a setting program and is injected in each cylinder through an injector(70) after calculating the compensating injection amount according to the rotary angle of the crank shaft. The next step decides whether The engine starting maintains normal state after the engine starting is induced by spark discharge in each cylinder. Then, on failing in the induction of the engine starting, if the need of engine restarting from the switching device is detected, the compensating injection amount is calculated by injection fuel amount in memory(60) and burned fuel amount in the induction of the engine starting, and the compensating injection amount is injected through the injector. And then, the next step induces the engine starting by spark discharge.
