PURPOSE: A language learning apparatus is provided to automate necessary repeatedly listening functions using a voice memory, adjust a play speed of a tape, make a simultaneous record possible, and to record and play program, lecture contents or others transmitted from a main adjusting apparatus in a language training room. CONSTITUTION: A language learning apparatus includes a key input part(10), a non-record interval setting part(50), a voice input part, a voice amplifying part(50), play/record part(60) for playing signal recorded in a cassette tape and adjusting and outputting right and left balance, a voice detection part(70), an output amplifying part(80) for converting voice signal input from the voice amplifying part and the play/record part and adjusting volume and base/treble, a voice output part(90,100) for converting and outputting signal input from the output amplifying part into voice, a micom(120) for outputting control signal performing functions of a language training room, an interface part(110) for interfacing signals from the micom with a consol, an auxiliary amplifier(300) for receiving and amplifying signals from the micom, a deck driving part(130), a tape speed adjusting part(140) for setting play speed of the cassette tape by control signal input from the micom, a deck part(150) for driving the cassette tape, a display part(160), and a memory part(20).
