The tank has an inner container (1) made of a thermoplastic which is partially covered by a sleeve (7) made of fire resistant material. A pot-shaped protective outer jacket, also made of thermoplastics, is provided which is joined to the sleeve and container at the base. A lid (5) is provided which has an opening allowing a connection nozzle (4) from the inner container to pass through. A reinforced section made of fire resistant material is attached to the connection nozzle.
