<p>The invention relates to tubular kniwear items, which may also be shaped, provided with laces, strings, bows and/or the like, produced automatically; the latter formed by a plurality of partial and supplementary knitted courses, substantially separated by the knit tube, connected thereto at a single extremity or side. The invention co-ordinates the appropriate selection of the needles, in accordance with the jacquard design and with the oeprating cycle of the textile machine, also with the aid of the hooks or needles of the dial or other needle bed and it allows, for defined fabric areas or groups of needles, the total cessation and/or the production of knitting fabric, followed by the production of new knitted courses, only after having produced, preferably with the alternating motion of the cylinder, and discharged, the aforesaid partial and supplementary knitted courses.</p> |
