<p>A method which comprises melting a melt-processable fluorocopolymer under heating and reheating the fluorocopolymer in a closed vessel in a nonstationary state at a temperature of, e.g., 130°C to the melting point of the fluorocopolymer to thereby decrease the volatile content thereof to 30 % of the initial one or below. This method makes it possible without using large equipment to decrease efficiently the volatile content of a melt-processable fluorocopolymer once molten while avoiding the contamination of the fluorocopolymer with foreign substances.</p> |
