<p>A memory card comprises a memory card body having a cut portion therein, a semiconductor memory where data is at least writable, a terminal for electrical connecting the semiconductor memory to an external device provided on the memory card body, and write-enabling setter for setting the data writable in the semiconductor memory fitted in the cut portion slidably. The memory card body includes an upper body and a lower body. At least one of the upper and lower bodies has an elastic guide formed inside the cut portion. The write-enabling setter is slidably fitted in the elastic guide and held between the upper and lower bodies. Part of the setter covers part of the cut portion. The setter slides on the elastic guide to set the data writable in the semiconductor memory. The elastic guide has an engagement part for engaging the setter so as to select the position of the setter with respect to the elastic guide.</p> |
