REMEDIES FOR NEUROPATHIC PAIN AND MODEL ANIMALS OF NEUROPATHIC PAIN

Remedies for neuropathic pain which contain as the active ingredient compounds represented by general formula (I) (wherein R<1>, R<2>, R<3>, R<4>, R<5>, R<6>, R<7>, R<8>, A and B are each as defined in the description) or pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof; and model animals prepared by administering (+)-4a-(3-hydroxyphenyl)-2-methyl-1,2,3,4,4a,5,12,12a-octahydro-trans-quinolino[2,3-g]isoquinoline. These remedies and model animals enable drug therapy for neuropathic pain and, moreover, evaluation of the therapeutic effects of compounds on neuropathic pain.
