The invention relates to water-soluble, preferably powder-form polymerizate compositions which are obtained by continuous polymerisation of at least one unsaturated monomer. At least one parameter that influences the polymerisation is varied according to a recurrent pattern. The invention also relates to the use of the inventive polymerizate compositions and to a method for producing them.
