An outdoor unit of an air conditioner, comprising a compressor (7), a heat exchanger (12), and a blower fan (9), all disposed in a casing, the casing further comprising a bottom plate (1) and a casing from part (2) installed on the bottom plate (1) and obtained by forming a front plate (2a), a roof plate (2b), and a side plate (2c) formed integrally with each other, wherein the front plate (2a) of the casing front part (2) and the roof plate (2b) are connected to each other foldably through a hinge thin walled part (41), and the front plate (2a) of the casing front part (2) and side plate (2c) are connected foldably through a hinge thin walled part (42), whereby the number of parts can be reduced, workability in assembly can be increased, and a cost can be reduced. |
