<p>A container having walls made of a biodegradable flexible material and of a water soluble sealing material. The walls have an edge region, and the water soluble sealing material adheres the walls together in the edge region to form the container. A portion of the edge region remains open for receiving a product. Optionally, an adhesive is disposed between the biodegradable flexible material and the water soluble sealing material. Also, a sachet which is the container, wherein the open product-receiving portion is now sealed closed and a product is present within the sealed container. Also, a method for making the container, a method for the protection of a plant, and banana fruit and method for producing banana fruit. The method for protection of a plant involves the steps of placing a cut in the plant and introducing a protection effective amount of phyto-protection product into the cut, wherein the phyto-protection product is within the container of the sachet.</p> |
