<p>An apparatus for recording an audio file allows a user (18) to establish a telephony connection with a call processing and recording system (12). Once the telephony connection is established and it is determined that the user is a registered user, the user records an audio file. When the internet server (14) receives the recorded audio file and accompanying data, this information is then stored in a recording database. An e-mail or other form of notification is also sent to the user notifying them of the address at which the recorded audio file can be accessed. Access to the recorded audio file can then be achieved by accessing this address over the Internet.</p> |
