FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to the prediction procedures of simvastatin based clinical effectiveness with regard to rheumatoid arthritis, and concerns applications of simvastatin in rheumatoid arthritis therapy. It is based on estimation cytokine profile in the patients suffering from rheumatoid arthritis. Prior to the therapy, the patients with rheumatoid arthritis are examined for amount of serum interleukin-10 which if makes 6.5 pg/ml allows predicting effective clinical response to simvastatin based therapy. ^ EFFECT: method provides individualisation of administered simvastatin based therapy. ^ 1 tbl, 5 dwg |
