The towing attachment (5) holder (3,4) adjusts in height round axis (4) off spring rest position covered by the cladding (6) and an active position in which the attachment is held lower down than the cladding. The swivel axis (4) is grasped from below by the cladding and in the active setting the attachment is curved round the free end of the cladding. In a variant, the axis is longitudinally offset relative the cladding towards the vehicle center and one part of the towing attachment is carried by the axis, as against a further variant in which part of the attachment is fitted with crosspieces acting as guide for the movement between rest and active positions.
