FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cylinder-piston assemblies of, particularly compressors. Proposed assembly (1) with cylinder (2) and piston (3) is arranged to reciprocate between first position of piston (3) whereat cylinder chamber (18) between aforesaid cylinder and piston is maximum and second position of piston (3) whereat aforesaid chamber is minimum. There is a support between piston (3) and cylinder (2) formed by working medium upon which piston (3), thrusts in cylinder (2) to axially move therein and defines bearing surface (38) of the piston that envelopes piston (3) along its circumference, over at least a part of its longitudinal length. Aforesaid support comprises multiple working medium outlets arranged in inner sidewall (14) of cylinder (2). Distribution of outlet cross section areas over length (L) of cylinder support surface (15) is asymmetric with respect to medium plane (E) of working surfaces.
