<p>Disclosed is paper coated with a pigment comprising a mesoporous silicoaluminate residue of calcium bentonite clay having a BET surface area in the range of about 300 to 730 m2/g and a pore volume in the range of 0.4 to 0.8 cc/g, a pore diameter in the range of 3,0-8, 0nm units, said residue containing tetrahedral aluminium but no octahedral aluminium and a polyvinyl alcohol binder. The paper may be used as the CF sheet in a carbonless copy paper system or in inkjet printing.</p> |
