In laundry or other detergent tablets with: (a) a pressed part containing at least one cavity; and, (b) another solid part, (partly) enclosed in the cavity. Part (b) does not completely fill the cavity in part (a) and the rest is (partly) filled with active substance. Independent claims are also included for: (i) the production of multiphase laundry or other detergent tablets; (ii) a combination of the detergent tablets and a packaging system.
