The invention concerns a bag (1) for packaging liquid substances for animal artificial insemination, consisting of two welded thermoplastic sheets defining a pouch (3), along a generally elongated closed line, with two opposite ends, said bag having at one of said ends a break forming a conduit (4) and defining a conduit zone (5). The invention is characterised in that one of said thermoplastic sheets comprises a adhesive part (6) coated with a detachable coat (7). The bag can be manually filled, without resorting to a packaging machine. After it has been filled, the bag containing a liquid can be manually closed without requiring any hot process welding appliance.
