摘要 The present invention relates to automated hot water treatment system for fruit. The lack of appropriate post harvest facility for effective and efficient post harvest operations for fruit production results to high post harvest losses (handling and disease infestation-anthracnose / stem-end rot) and decrease fruit quality for export. the application of automation to the existing design of the hot water treatment facility will make it more responsive to the current needs of mango farmer. The invention will definitely assist the farmer or grower in enhancing the quality of the fruit and can greatly boost the effectiveness of the disease control systems for selected fruit crops. The invention represents design of automated hot water treatment system for fruits wherein the fruit inside the crates will be lifted and dipped in the heated water tank. The water pump is turned-on automatically to produce cavitation that employs evenly distribution of heat to the fruits inside the crates. Temperature sensors for hot water treatment will be used to monitor and maintain the required operating temperatures. In the control panel, the temperature maintained and time elapsed displayed. The automated hot water treatment system for fruits major parts are control panel, hot water treatment container, pump, crates, hooks, motor, hydraulic cylinder, and hydraulic motor, and control panel.
