<p>The hatch comprises a tailboard (3) hinging downwards at the bottom edge (12) of the opening in the bodywork, and a top half (5) swinging upwards. Locks (12) are provided at each side edge of the tailboard. The top half also has two locks (13) at its side edges (10,11) and also those (6,7) of the opening. The working mechanisms of the locks for the tailboard and the top half on each side can be combined into a single unit at the side of the opening. The pivot axes of the rotary and locking catches can be parallel to the hinge axes of the tailboard and top half. The rotary catches for the top half can form a mirror image of those for the tailboard.</p> |
