The apparatus is for the promotion of self-mobilization of patients who have suffered a cerebral vascular accident and provides for the tipping of a foot plate according to the possibilities of a hinge joint or a ball joint. It involves a special hand grip (1), a shaft (2), a drum (3) for placing the shaft, foot positions (4,5) with or without step-in shoes, a foot plate (6), a hinge ball (7) and a base plate (8) with or without anti-slip. The foot plate has five holes for possible positioning of balls. The central positioning of one ball provides a possibility for a ball joint and two balls placced in a line through the central hole provide a possibility for a hinge joint.
