A watch (1) has hour and minute hands (8,10) and a watch glass (4). In addition a matrix of tactile sensors (16) is supported by the watch glass and is used to control a computer cursor through radio or infrared channels. The movement of a finger across the tactile sensors is interpreted in direction by a least squares technique and the cursor is moved correspondingly and at a proportional speed.
