Fresh and/or frozen fruit and/or vegetable with high moisture content is dried and pulverized to require granule dimensions. The product to be dried is cut up/granulated, dried in a tree-stage apparatus, to produce a hard coat, main drying and post-drying consecutively. Finally the product is pulverized, as required. Equipment is proposed, comprising granulator (2), three rotating drier units in series, with perforated drums (1',1'',1'''), feed screws, hot air fans (4), air temperature and moisture content sensing and control devices (11,12) and preferably a final pulverize unit (5). |
