Embodiments of the present invention relate to interleaving method and apparatus, and more particularly to interleaving method and apparatus for adaptively determining an interleaving depth. According to the interleaving method and apparatus, an interleaving depth of one or more interleaving blocks may be adaptively determined based on a maximum interleaving depth and the number of one or more codewords of a packet, and interleaving may be performed on the interleaving blocks based on the interleaving depth.
