DEVICE FOR TURNING SEAT WITH REINFORCING BAR

PURPOSE: A seat turning apparatus having a reinforcing bar is provided to prevent breakage of an upper rotating body, and to protect passengers by equalizing the pull of a seat belt with the grip of a fitting pin inserted to the recess of the upper rotating body at a collision. CONSTITUTION: A seat turning device is composed of a lower fixing body(2) having an assembling hole(14) with a lower bracket(5); an upper rotating body(3) combined with the upper fixing body; and a bracket holder(4) controlling the rotational angle of the upper rotating body by a ratchet member(6). A fitting pin(11) is formed in the lower part of the lower fixing body, and a triangular reinforcing bar(12) is formed in the lower part of the upper rotating body. A vertex(a) of the reinforcing bar is placed in the middle of the upper rotating body, and a vertex(b) is placed in the center of the rear part. A fitting groove(13) is formed in a vertex(c) of the reinforcing bar to insert the fitting pin. Accidents are prevented with mounting the reinforcing bar in the upper rotating body at the collision.
