<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily confirm recorded contents immediately preceding by storing the dynamic image signal for the nearest prescribed time to be recorded in a recording medium, image-displaying a dynamic image signal obtained by an image pickup means, reading and outputting the moving image signal stored in a solid-state memory in accordance with a recording halt instruction. SOLUTION: A magnetic tape is rewound for a fixed time and the part is reproduced by a constant speed. During this reproduction, a stuffing-up detection circuit 22 inspects a reproduction signal from a recording and reproducing circuit 20 to detect the presence/absence of stuffing-up. In the case of the absence of stuffing-up, a recording review mode is started to inspect whether corresponding image data are stored in a memory area for review. When a desired image data are stored, image data stored in the memory area for review are read and reproduce-displayed. When they are not stored, the magnetic tape is rewound for five sec, etc. a recorded image during the time is reproduced at a constant speed to display a reproduced image and the magnetic tape is stopped just before a recording pose.</p> |
