PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leather winding steering wheel in which even if the leather terminal is fitted in an annular groove, the leather terminal and the periphery of the annular grove can be easily fitted so that leather winding work can be performed finely and simply. SOLUTION: This leather winding steering wheel W is so constructed that a covering layer 5 of a ring part R is covered with a leather 15, and the terminal 17 along the circumferential direction of a flat surface of the ring part in the leather is fitted in an annular groove 8 provided in the circumferential direction of a section of the ring part in the covering layer 6. A tie braid 26 regulated in movement along the circumferential direction of the flat surface of the ring part and passed movably along the annular groove is disposed at the terminal 17 of the leather. The leather terminal 17 is disposed together with the tie braid 26 in the annular groove 8, and both ends of the tie braid 26 are mutually pulled and tied to be fitted in the annular groove 8.
