PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice synthesizing method in which a continuous voice waveform accompanied by a natural sound is suitably regenerated and operation for imparting portamento effect is easy. SOLUTION: Voice waveforms in voice units are stored in a representative waveform storage device 16, a voice unit series is generated based on musical score information and text information, and voice waveform corresponding to respective voice units of the generated voice unit series is read out of the representative waveform storage device 16 and put together to generate a continuous voice waveform. Here, the portamento effect is so given that the pitch frequency of the continuous voice waveform continuously varies to a pitch frequency different from the pitch frequency in a stationary section where the pitch frequency is constant and then continuously varies to the original pitch frequency. |
