PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a pitch between parallel wires (a) when pressure-welding them. SOLUTION: Plural wires (a) for wire harness W are arranged in parallel with each other on the same flat surface, and when pressure-welding the parallel wires (a) with terminals (t) of a connector C for electrical connection, the wires (a) arranged with the same pitch P1 are aligned with a parallel pitch P4 of the connector terminals (t). A parallel pitch changing jig 136 is provided in both sides of a pressure-contact part in the longitudinal direction of the wires, and the changing jig is formed with a corresponding number of guide grooves 139 in relation to the parallel wires downward from the upper edge thereof, and pitch for the openings of the upper edge of each guide groove corresponds to the terminal is changed with the same pitch of the parallel wires toward a lower part to correspond to the terminal pitch. The parallel wires of the same pitch are pushed into the guide grooves of both the changing jigs, so as to align the parallel wires with the terminal pitch. When pushing the parallel wires into the guide grooves, the top surface of the parallel wires is pressed by a jig 140 so as to prevent the floating of the wires, and the parallel wires are thereby guided smoothly by the guide grooves, and the pitch of the wires is changed to the terminal pitch. |
