PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function of a reflector of automatic conformity in a single direction with a single component as well as a function for splitting an incident flow. SOLUTION: This is a partially reflective optical component 11 which generates two secondary beams, one being a reflected beam 13 while the other a transferred or transmitted beam 14, from an incident beam 12. The optical component comprises a total-reflective first flat surface 15, a partial-reflective second flat surface 16 vertical to the first surface, and a total-reflective third flat surface 17. The first and third surfaces are in the same plane, and the component automatically match the reflected beam 13 to the incident beam 12 in 1-dimention, so that two half beam compristng corresponding wave tip or wave front is formed at transferred or transmitted beam as well as reflected beam, respectively. An external cavity laser source comprising a single component such as a 1-dimension auto-matching reflector can be provided.
