PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the maintenance characteristic of an air feed means and exhaust means of an isolator. SOLUTION: A chamber 4 formed with a sterile space hermetically sealed in this isolator is supported on the upper part of a machine frame 2. The air feed means 25 which blasts air to an air feed port 22 formed in the upper part of this chamber 4 and the exhaust means 40 which sucks the air in the chamber 4 from an air exit 26 disposed at the bottom of the chamber 4 are installed onto a movable base 10 mounted with casters 8. The base 10 installed with the air feed means 25 and the exhaust means 40 may be housed in the machine frame 2. If the isolator is drawn out together with the base 10 to the outside of the machine frame 2 at the time of the maintenance thereof, the access thereto from any direction is possible and the workability may be improved.
