摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert vibration of a sprung member with respect to a unsprung member into electrical energy with high efficiency in a generator assembled into a suspension device for a vehicle. SOLUTION: A suspension device serves to connect a wheel to a vehicle body via a lower arm and an upper arm. A generator has a stator 24 fixed to a case 21 and a rotor 25 rotatably supported in the case 21. The case 21 is connected to the inside end of the upper arm via a first connecting shaft 22 and the rotor 25 is connected to a second connecting shaft 23 connected to the vehicle body via a speed increasing mechanism 26. The speed increasing mechanism 26 increases the rotating speed of the second connecting shaft 23 with respect to the case 21 and transmits it to the rotor 25. The first and second connecting shafts 22, 23 are formed by torsion bars to flexibly support the inertia moment of a rotating system such as the rotor 25.
