PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device capable of presenting traffic information received from a communication system such as VICS(vehicle information and communication system) to a user in more proper form. SOLUTION: This navigation device is provided with a function for displaying traffic information such as a traffic congestion situation on a map in a superimposed manner by utilizing traffic information received from a communication system. In this case, the traffic information from a narrow media of an information providing area is utilized prior to the traffic information from a wide media of the information providing area concerning a region in which traffic information from a plurality of mediae is overlapped. |
