PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the adjusting work of a photographing lens associated with an manufacturing error as for the photographing lens focused by an all- group extending system. SOLUTION: By making parallel luminous flux from a collimator 3 incident on the temporarily assembled photographing lens 2, focusing with respect to an infinite point is executed. By inserting a concave lens 17 on an optical path and extending the lens 2 in an optical axis direction, the focusing with respect to a photographing distance A is executed. Based on the position of the focusing time with respect to the infinite point and the position of the focusing time with respect to the photographing distance A, extending amount X is measured. When the amount X is over allowable nidthΔ, an interval between a front-group lens 10 and a rear-group lens 11 is adjusted to D2 from D1 by moving an adjustment frame 15. Besides, the focusing with respect to the infinite point and the focusing with respect to the photographing distance A are executed again in turn and the amount X is measured in the same way. When this amount X falls within the allowable widthΔ, the position of the lens 11 is fixed and the adjustment work is finished.
