metallization technology of surfaces of piezoceramic articles by method of burn-in of metal-carrying paste, paste containing silver in particular. SUBSTANCE: paste carrying metal, specifically paste containing silver compounds, is applied to surface of piezoelements. Then it is burnt in by way of high-frequency heating of piezoelements in quasi-stationary electric field of operating capacitor of generator of dielectric heating with placement of piezoelements between two plates of dielectric material with high value of loss tangent of dielectric. Process of burn-in is conducted with control over flux of thermal radiation from surface of piezoelements. Time moments t1 and t2 at which sudden change of rate of build-up of controlled flux of thermal radiation takes place are determined. Process of high-frequency heating is terminated at moment t2 of repeated change of rate of build-up of flux. Device for metallization of piezoceramic elements includes electrodes of operating capacitor of generator of dielectric heating in which piezoceramic elements are placed between two substrates of dielectric material having high value of tangent of dielectric, radiation pyrometer, aid channeling flux of thermal radiation from surface of piezoelement to radiation pyrometer and control circuit that incorporates differentiator, comparison circuit, time relay and switch controlling operation of generator of dielectric heating connected in series.
