METHOD OF PIPE PRODUCTION FROM MICROALLOYED STEELS

SUBSTANCE: pipes in the form of round billets made of steel containing C, Mn, Nb and V are preliminarily deformed at 1000 C, cooled in air for 55 s down to 735 C, heated by induction plant up to 800 C and finally deformed in multistand sinking mill with total reduction degree of 20%. Upon leaving the last mill stand, pipes are cooled with water for 1.5 s at average rate of 20 C/s to 680 C and finally cooled in air.
