PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily pull out an inserting guide after inserting a group of electrodes by forming a notch part as a relief for the inserting guide of the group of electrodes on the upper part of wall surfaces facing each other in a battery jar. SOLUTION: When a group of electrodes 2 are stored in a cell compartment 5, a guide part 13 of an insertion guide 3 is first inserted into the inside of the upper part of the cell compartment 5. The group of electrodes 2 are then inserted into the cell compartment 5 by passing the guide part 13 from the introduction part 11 of the inserting guide 13. When the group of electrodes 2 are inserted in the cell compartment 5 through the inserting guide 3, the side plate 12 of the guide part 13 expands outward. However, a notch part 15 is formed as a relief, so as to face the side plate 12 on the upper part of the wall surface of the cell compartment 5, the side plate 12 of the guide part 13 therefore escapes and expands enter into the notch part 15, and there is no chance of the side plate 12 pressurized tightly against the wall surface of the cell compartment 5. Therefore, the insertion guide 3 can be pulled out efficiently without any difficulty, after storing the group of electrodes 2 by inserting them in the cell compartment 5.
